The person comes first
Jimmy is designed as support, not surveillance. The person using Jimmy knows who is connected to their account.
Families deserve straight answers before they trust an app with the details of a parent's day.

What Jimmy is
What Jimmy is not
Jimmy should never be relied on as a safety, monitoring or medical system.
Jimmy is designed as support, not surveillance. The person using Jimmy knows who is connected to their account.
Connected helpers can see the shared schedule and limited app activity. Their helper view does not give them access to your private conversations or saved memories.
Jimmy does not diagnose, treat, monitor or manage any health condition, and is not a substitute for professional care.
Jimmy does not automatically call for help or detect a fall. Its call buttons open your device's calling app; you must place the call. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Reliability
Jimmy uses AI and internet-connected services. Answers can be incorrect or incomplete, and speech recognition can misunderstand you. We do not guarantee that information will always be accurate, that the service will always be available, or that a reminder will arrive on time.
Internet outages, service interruptions, a flat battery, muted volume, notification permissions, and device settings can delay or prevent reminders. The current audible reminders require Jimmy to remain open on an awake device with sound enabled. They may stop when the app is closed or the device is locked. Automatic text-message alerts are not currently enabled.
Check important dates, times, and instructions against their original source. Keep a separate alarm or a plan with a trusted person for essential tasks. Do not rely on Jimmy as the only way to remember medication or obtain help. Follow instructions from your healthcare professional and ask them about any uncertainty.
A reminder marked Completed records what a person selected in the app; it does not independently verify that a task was carried out. A helper's activity view does not confirm a person's safety or wellbeing.
Jimmy is not a medical device, emergency response service, or substitute for a caregiver. In an emergency, call your local emergency number directly. These notices do not exclude or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Your information
Information entered into Jimmy — appointments, routines, contacts, notes and the home address — is used to deliver the reminders and features you have set up.
People connected to a support circle can see the shared information for that account and add reminders and tasks. Connections are set up deliberately, and can be changed.
Jimmy uses service providers to operate the app. Supabase handles account sign-in and database storage. AI questions, relevant approved memory context, and voice requests are processed by OpenAI. Your browser may use its own speech recognition service. Stripe processes billing through the app's payment connection. These features need to send the information required for the request over the internet.
Avoid entering passwords, payment card details, or information you do not want processed by these services into a conversation. Enter payment details only in the checkout form. You can review saved memories and change personalization settings from your account.
We do not make certification claims. Jimmy does not currently advertise HIPAA, PHIPA, GDPR or SOC 2 certification, and we will only state such a claim here once it has been formally verified.
